Allen Company Daytona Shotgun and Rifle Case - 46 & 52 - Inch Soft Gun Bag

After much buyer's hesitation due to some other reviews here on Amazon, I can gladly report I'm very pleased with this soft case! I bought this as a home for my Weihrauch HW97, a $500 airgun with $120 scope (so protection was key). Padding material offers adequate protection and feels durable. I would compare the outer skin to that of a winter jacket, like a Carharrt. Feels tough. The pockets are well designed, well placed, and useful. Love the added touches of the mesh pocket (you can see what's in it, quick access), the solid finger loop attached to the zipper (makes zip/unzip a breeze), and being able to Velcro together the two halves of the handle, like a duffle bag. It's these tiny details that really make the difference. I use an Allen case for my pistol as well and they seem to hit a great "value-for-price" sweet spot. My only gripe is that there's only one zipper, so you must zip all the way from one end to the other if you want to fully open/close the case. Not a huge deal though, especially given the price.I can easily fit my HW97 in this case with a 3x9 scope attached no issues (see photos). Keep in mind this rifle has a pistol grip, and measures slightly over 9" from bottom of pistol grip to top of scope. So it's no "mini" gun whatsoever. Still confused over some of the other reviews here that say the case won't fit a scoped rifle. It certainly does. Overall, it's a great case and I'd highly recommend it if you're in the market for a softy!

I bought this to support American made products, keeping money here in the pockets of my fellow Americans and because I needed a case for my shotgun.When I received it, it was in a big flat box much wider than the item itself. So thankfully it wasn’t folded in half.I was surprised with the weight of the case as it felt quite hefty and not flimsy and cheap. Construction quality is very good and the materials feel strong for its intended use. 3 pockets on the side with an additional mesh pocket over the largest one. All pockets fit a least 1 box of 5 shells comfortably so you can easily fit 3, possibly 4 boxes. Pocket zippers feel strong and have a fabric pull on each one. Main zipper is of the same construction but has a corded pull with plastic shell. Handles can be held together with an attached handle cover that has Velcro. Either end of the case has loop, presumably to attach an additional strap. However it does come with an adjustable shoulder strap attached which works great.Inside padding is more than adequate for what I need it for (going to the range a few times a month).Fits 41” shot gun perfectly!!!Overall extremely happy and would purchase again.

Excellent case. Well padded. Shipped in a long box, not folded up. Lots of zippered compartments.

The good news is that it arrived on time. The bad news, it arrived with the box completely opened from end to end and anyone could have lifted it from the box in transit. My complaint is not with the quality of the product, although it is not quite as padded as I expected. It will do what I need it to do. It was delivered with the box wide open. The case was not in a plastic sleeve and delivered in the rain, it did get wet. The case seems to be water resistant. The padding inside is not wet. I hope it does not stain from the water. Time will tell. The zippers all work very well. The pockets are well placed and sewn well. If not for the poor condition on arrival, I would have given it a 5 star. No serious complaints about the product quality. Very bad shipping. Seller's fault? Shipper's fault? I don't know. I hope this gets read and will be corrected for the next person.

This soft case is a great deal. The straps are durable and it comes with some pockets for storing accessories or other smaller things you may need. The case is cushioned well and the shoulder strap is well balanced.

Great case and perfect fit. Very good quality and material.

Bought this not knowing it was made in the USA. Really nice quality for the price. Kept my Benelli nice and safe from water, snow, dust, and mud. It's the perfect length and has extra pockets for cleaning supplies and paperwork.
