Grizzly Industrial G0758Z - 6" x 20" 3/4 HP Mill/Drill with DRO

Nice little mill, very happy with the convenience of the variable speed drive and the digital readouts. Uses normal 115-volt wall power, which is convenient if you don’t have 220 volts available.This mill would benefit from a riser block, it needs a bit more Z-axis working envelope. There’s only 8.75” between the spindle and the table with the head all the way up, and that gets consumed pretty fast by a swivel-base vise, a good keyless drill chuck, the stickout of your drill bit, and the height of your workpiece. I suppose one could hold drill bits in R8 collets, but that shouldn’t be necessary on a mill-drill.Overall it is a nice choice for a space-constrained shop. The matching cabinet stand is nice as well (have to order separately, it is not included) and they mated up fine.

My son bought this for me about 4 months ago. I also bought Grizzly low profile vice. This is a great machine there has been nothing it can’t conquer. Love it. Wish I had spent more money to get the electric DRO. I would give it a ten if I could.
