Panlong PL-9812 2-Port HDMI v1.4 Powered Amplifier Splitter 1 In 2 Out with Ultra HD 4K, 3D 1080P, HDCP Support

i bought this so I could split my Denon 1611UD 3D Blu-Ray player. It works fine with regular Blu Ray discs but not Blu Ray 3D. It works fine with DirecTv but not the 3D programs on my hard drive. It claims its HDCP compliant but is not and was totally disappointed about not working with 3D videos. I've been trying for a year to find one that works with 3D. B&H says they have one for $148, but I don't know for sure if it works. The Panlong PL 912 for $5 more than this PL-9812 states also that it is 3D HDCP compliant, but who knows.

Just what the doctor ordered. HDMI is notoriously flaky with handshaking issues and hdcp issues. And to make matters worse you have to have the right cable, make sure its not too long the make sure what you are plugging into accepts the signal. But sure enough this Panlong 9812 (never heard of the company) handled things like a champ. Going out of my Onkyo receiver into my Westinghouse TV and optima project (which has a very sensitive HDMI handshaking issue) has been a snap. No issues here. Very pleasantly surprised.

i bought this item in April 2015. It lasted long only 7 months. It's already dead. They said it was warranted for a year and I had no idea to contact to seller. Product is not available.

Works perfectly. Would be nice if it powered down to save energy when not receiving a signal.
